About Me:
I am Alessandro a British Italian based in Brighton and I am a qualified therapist and a member of the BACP, with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Counselling from the Open University. I believe everyone has the ability to grow, gain self-awareness, and achieve self-acceptance and happiness.
I use a combination of humanistic and psychodynamic approaches, including Gestalt therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and elements of Person-Centred therapy. Together, we will shape sessions that provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore who you are and discover what works best for you.
My approach is collaborative: I support you in understanding yourself, identifying what helps or hinders your growth, and working towards self-acceptance. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodiverse clients, and my own experiences within these communities inform my understanding and empathy.
I offer flexible online sessions and a free introductory chat if you’re unsure whether therapy—or working with me—is right for you.

Who are we?
Welcome to our Eclano Counselling and Therapy. My name is Alessandro and I am an integrative counsellor (therapist) and this means that I draw from a variety of different techniques and work with you to find the best and most effective approach that fits you. You’re an individual and we will collaborate to make the therapy a safe space for you to be you and to feel empowered to find the right journey for you.
Whether you are new to therapy or have been before you are welcome here. Whether you are an LGBTQIA+ individual navigating life and trying to find yourself or whether you are trying to deal with lifes challenges that leave you overwhelmed you can rest assured that I will help you feel less alone and like there is a better future for you.
Seeking therapy is brave and admitting you need help with lifes challenges isn’t simple but Eclano provides a safe space to be listened to and to be alongside you without judgement or pressure.
My approach is collaborative and works with you. If you want to talk through your ideas or be challenged kindly or if you find comfort in silence that is okay. I am here to work with you not against you.
You deserve to feel safe, to feel heard and to feel supported. You deserve kindness. You’re good enough.
Feel free - in your own time - to reach out if this sounds like it could work for you.
